Elizabeth Power

 Elizabeth Power, RPN, RNMH, BA (Social & Economic Studies), MFA, Certificate in Gestalt Counselling, is currently Head of Services at Domestic Violence Response Galway.She has worked in the field of domestic abuse since 1993, serving as coordinator, a support worker and facilitator of educational and therapeutic group programmes for women. She was also the researcher on Towards a Community Response to Domestic Violence (1998).  Since 2020, she has delivered Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) accredited training to counsellors, with a particular focus on domestic abuse and coercive control. Elizabeth joined the Board of SiSi in 2025 and is the current Company Secretary.
