How we are funded

SiSi does not receive any funding from the state. All our work is volunteer driven. We have been grateful recipients of Donor assisted support from the Community Foundation for Ireland and have been supported with training support from Rethink Ireland and private donors.  

We believe that by working with philanthropy, private donations and membership based support we can remain true to our core mission, keeping grassroots, survivor-led, authentic voices at the heart of everything we do. 

Our survivor leaders and volunteers are all highly skilled, trained and experienced at working with survivors and the systems designed to protect us and help us thrive after abuse. Our 'expert by experience' training is available to anyone interested in ending violence against women. By supporting a survivor-led initiative that delivers gold standard survivor-informed expertise through training, consultancy and system design support.
